Join us for Career Night on July 10th!

Three times a year, Oasis For Girls hosts a Career Night so that our girls have the opportunity to meet and learn from women in various professions about the challenges and successes they have experienced on their career paths.

We are currently seeking women with interesting professional experience to serve as mentors. Our girls typically enjoy talking to and hearing from women in the following industries such as: technology, fashion, culinary, finance, education, nonprofit/social justice, event planning, arts/culture, healthcare, and media/communications. Women in other unique/interesting lines of work are also welcome.

Because we seek to work with mentors who have shared experiences with our girls, women of color and/or from low-income backgrounds are encouraged to participate.

5:00 pm – 7:30 pm

In addition to sharing their wisdom and experience with our girls, Career Night mentors make a gift of $100* to Oasis For Girls. The funds are used for additional career exploration activities including field trips to local universities and businesses. *This may be covered by a mentor’s employer. We are also accepting donations to help underwrite the participation of women from traditionally lower income professions such as the arts and nonprofit.
