Shine is an evening for the San Francisco community to come together and celebrate the young women of Oasis, to elevate awareness of issues impacting their lives, and to raise critical funds to help sustain Oasis’ programs. The gala is attended by a sold-out crowd of 200+ people every year, and is generously hosted at Twitter HQ. Join us for a lively night of great food and wine, an extensive silent auction featuring the best of San Francisco, and community!
Investing in girls pays significant dividends for our communities for years into the future, empowering girls to stay engaged academically and economically, fostering healthy families, communities, and policy in their wake. Proceeds from Shine go directly to programs, and in particular:

About this Event
Join us as we reveal the newest flavor as part of our plant-based cookie line! We have partnered with Leah Recania to lead a 45 minute workout at PowerPlay SF, followed by a guilt-free ice cream bar featuring Re:THINK Ice Cream and toppings by Bloom Caramel, Becca's Petites snack mix, Love Lil Bucks sprouted buckwheat and of course CompletEats cookies. We're also staying hydrated with cold brew teas by Tenderleaf and feeding our muscles post-workout with Ripple's nutritious pea milk.
To celebrate and give back to our community, we are having a raffle with prizes from our sponsors with all proceeds benefiting Oasis for Girls, a non-profit benefiting young women from under-resourced communities in San Francisco.

About CompletEats
CompletEats is a plant-based snack company based out of San Francisco founded by Lauren Chew. She founded the company last year after her stepmom had fully transitioned to a plant-based diet for the health benefits. Her products are distributed throughout the Bay Area and are also sold online on CompletEats.com and Amazon. CompletEats cookies are vegan and gluten-free and are made with simple ingredients that you can pronounce. Have your cookie and eat it too!

The Real Capitalist Podcast is a weekly show featuring a Female Founder or Venture Capitalist. We are building a community building strong female icons in the startup ecosystem. The show was started in Fall of 2018 and has featured over 30 women in the start-up ecosystem all over the world!
Storytellers
Courteney Real, is the host of The Real Capitalist Podcast and the Founder of RiseHER. She completed her undergraduate degrees in Finance, Entrepreneurship and International Business Management at Arizona State University. Courteney has a vast experience working within the Startup Ecosystem and is passionate about seeing more females represented within the community. She has done everything from being an early-stage entrepreneur to launching co-working spaces, with experience in seed-stage venture capital and accelerators.

We are currently seeking women with interesting professional experience to serve as mentors. Our girls typically enjoy talking to and hearing from women in the following industries such as: technology, fashion, culinary, finance, education, nonprofit/social justice, event planning, arts/culture, healthcare, and media/communications. Women in other unique/interesting lines of work are also welcome.
Because we seek to work with mentors who have shared experiences with our girls, women of color and/or from low-income backgrounds are encouraged to participate.

In addition to sharing their wisdom and experience with our girls, Career Night mentors make a gift of $100* to Oasis For Girls. The funds are used for additional career exploration activities including field trips to local universities and businesses. *This may be covered by a mentor’s employer. We are also accepting donations to help underwrite the participation of women from traditionally lower income professions such as the arts and nonprofit.
